1. Absorption – The first thing you have to do is to get most coffee from carpet by absorption. You have to do it quickly to avoid the coffee stains to penetrate to the very deep of the carpet. To do this, you have to employ a clean absorbent white cloth and put it over the area with coffee stains. Don’t put the whole cloth over as it may cause the coffee stains to spread and as an effect will create a greater coffee stained area. Just put over the towel part by part until most coffee will be absorbed by the absorbent cloth.

2. Blotting – After absorbing most coffee from carpet as the first step the next thing you have to do is to blot the coffee stained area using a clean damp white cloth. You have to blot the outer part first going to the inner part as you go on.

3. After the initial blotting, prepare a carpet stain removal liquid solution. To do this, you just have to mix a teaspoon of clear and mild dish washing detergent with a cup of warm water.

Other kind of carpet stain removal liquid solution can be prepared by using some lemon. Just mix up together a proportion of 0.25 cup of lemon juice with a quirt of liquid detergent. Mix or stir gently.

4. Once you already have your carpet stain removal liquid solution, you may start cleaning the carpet coffee stains. Grab a sponge and put some drops of your carpet stain removal liquid solution to it. Apply this solution on the carpet. Do this in a smooth manner to avoid the coffee stains to spread even more. 5. The next thing would be to rinse the coffee stained carpet with clean water. Do this by squeezing clean water from your sponge or by spraying water from your spray bottle. 7. Once the carpet is super clean already. We have to let it dry. When you dry a wet carpet, you just have to put a clean dry towel or sturdy paper towels over the cleaned area. After that, be sure to put some weights over it. Doing this can assure us that the water from the deeper part of the carpet could be absorbed and dried. You can use books, wood or any heavy objects. Do nut remove the towel until a couple of hours or even over night. After removing the towels, expect to have a clean carpet.
